Recount Story - Flaxmere Water world

Water world

Splash! Splash! As I dive into the big blue pool.

Room 20,21,19 and 18 went to the pools in week 1 term 2 but not on Friday,Saturday and Sunday.

We went to Flaxmere water world on the Nimon bus.

Room 20,21,19 and 18 went to the pools to learn how to swim or get better at swimming.

“Do freestyle to  the end” yelled Natalie.

Sally said “Mia can you lay on your back?”

My favourite thing was when Natalie threw the toys in the pool because it was easy and fun.  

I think did the best I could.

I should work on my breathing.

Maui and the sun

Māui and the sun

It  was dark and cold.

The sun had fallen down to the big blue sea.

Māui couldn’t even have a tiny piece of his food.

  ”Oh that sun it is going too fast ,too too fast”said Māui.

Māui called his brothers as loud as a wolf's  howl.

They came stomping to him in the darkness outside.

”That sun is going too fast don’t you agree brothers”said Māui.

“Yeah we agree, the sun  goes down then the moon comes up and the night is too long and the day is too short” replied the brothers.

“Oh we don’t have time to fish and we don’t have time to hunt” answered Māui and the brothers.

“I say we should get the sun and beat it up because he goes down too fast do you agree brothers or do  you not agree”said Māui.

  “Ok we will plait the rope so we can catch that naughty  sun so the day can be long”said the brothers.

  Two minutes later the brothers said “we can not eat our food”.

Year I agree totally agree we should  catch the sun.

“Ok brothers when I say pull then pull ok gus said Māui.

Yes we totally get it yup glued in our heads.

  “Ok we are done plaiting the rope” mumbled the brothers.

“Brothers when I say throw then throw or if I say pull then pull, ok” yelled Māui.

“Ok boys now throw” yelled Māui as loud as someone waking up the whole word!

“Keep hold of the rope and pull”said Māui.

Māui was beating up the sun and saying slow down, slow down, you silly sun.

“Ok ok I will slow down just leave me alone” moaned the sun.

“Ok Māui that is enough let him go”said the brothers.

Strawberry Volcano.

The watermelon looks like strawberry volcano with black lava shooting out.One day two small  people came to strawberry volcano.

When they were there they said their names out loud and their names are Josh and Jon.

   Then Jon and Josh went for a walk then there was some watermelon it looked like volcano so They called it strawberry volcano, that's how it got the name.Josh was thinking about if they climb this volcano we might be the first  people to  climb it.

OK said Jon.

“Let's start climbing if we want to be the first one up” said Jon.

“OK” said Josh.

“Hey Jon can you help me up” said Josh.

“OK” said Jon.

” Ah Jon I’m falling ahhhhhhhhhhhhh”.

“Jon catch me”.

“Ahhhh Jon I’m on I trampoline and it’s in a car” said Josh.

“I know” said Jon.

   ”Hi my name is Jon and I’m Josh”.

“Hi Josh and Jon, my name is Disha”.

“Hi Disha” said Josh and Jon.

“Do you like the name strawberry volcano.Yes it’s a nice name.Oh yeah thanks for naming it” said Disha.

“What do you mean?” said said Jon.

“Did I not tell you” sighed Disha.

“Tell us what?” whispered Jon

 ”I was exploring when I saw this place so”.

”So what said Josh.

”Can I tell you said Disha.

”Oh yeah.So I was exploring when I got here I started climbing then one minute later I was at the top.I jumped down in my car and dove here then made a watermelon fort.Do you like it.Yes yes it is very warm.

”I think it too” said Josh>

“I live here” said Disha.

“That is the end so I’m going now “ said Disha.                        

   What do you mean you're going?.I mean I’m going to explore again.Can you take us to small people town?

”Why not” said Disha. Hop in and let's go.Two minutes later.

”Everyone quiet” mumbled Disha.

“Why ?”said Josh and Jon really quiet.

”Because there is a tiger and here comes more”. Jon and Josh come out of the car now.

”Don’t you need help” said Jon. Just go and hide now. OK you can come now. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

“Are you finished Josh”.

” No ahhhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhh OK I’m finished ,white white, no, no, I’m finished”.

OK then let’s hop in the car are you coming?Oh yeah I’m coming now.

”Yay I’m here”said Josh.

”Bye-bye Disha”said Josh and Jon.

 As I walk into my house I see fire, so I did what I will normally do yell “fire fire get low get down get out” and then I ran out.    

The fire is like the hot sun it is like lava and if you touch a light that was on for a long time.

A lot of people who were stuck at work because they were not allowed to drive on the road.

The fire is as hot as lava.

“fire fire it looks like lava”.

oh no it’s the fire.

 Flames and a fiery house was shooting out of the ground.

 What if we go here or not there are too many flames,what about if we go here this is good to stay,lets go to sleep now.

Wow here comes a big ball of flames.

Swing Bridge

I wonder if the bridge leads to the forest or should I say magical forest.What if there was some monsters on the other side.I see a eagle swooping in the gray sky as the trees swoosh from side to side. Someone starts to cross the wobbly wiggly bridge. Then he yells, “I’m here”, when he is on the other side and then everyone yells yay!  The little boy went for a walk and as soon as he knew, it was lunch time so he went hunting.He was hunting and hunting then the little boy finally found something to eat so he, started to head back to the bridge then he just put one foot on the bridge and it broke into pieces. Oh no!The little boy was stuck there forever and ever and it did not get better because a tiger came two minutes later.
