Lost!

Anxiously scanning the dirty crumpled up map,I remembered I’m going to be late. So I started stomping
down to Camp Wakarara. While I was wondering down I got so thirsty, my throat was as dry as the desert.
Then my throat got  tickly,I tried yelling out but my thought was like a dry dark tunnel.

As I was searching for  ina rawa freshwater,I peek around a tall mossy tree and I find something better
than plain old water I find berrys and sparkly water. When I saw it I was so relieved and get this
Camp Wakarara was right next to it.So I ran and I ran,then I finally got there and I was so happy because
everyone just got there. Yay you finally got here.

This is one thing you don’t know about me.Do you know that I do ballet and this is my fourth year doing it.Most people think I do it in Hastings but I do it in Napier and I love it so much.

This is something you also might not know about me.I have a family of six.But don’t tell anybody `that my favourite is my baby brother Sebastian.We love to go to the the pools and beach all the time even if it’s raining.

Last thing you need to know about me is that all of my family is from South Africa. Everyone I know that is in my family is from South Africa,but my cousins from Australia.

Bows! Bows! Oh sweet gorgeous  bows. Since I loved bows I begged my mum for one then I got it the next day.

Bows are glittery and colourful. There are different kinds of bows like blue bows and pink bows.before I got a bow I stole my cousin’s one.

Everyone loves bows but JoJo bows are the best.JoJo bows are way better than normal bows because they are made by JoJo Siwa.

Recount Story - Flaxmere Water world

Water world

Splash! Splash! As I dive into the big blue pool.

Room 20,21,19 and 18 went to the pools in week 1 term 2 but not on Friday,Saturday and Sunday.

We went to Flaxmere water world on the Nimon bus.

Room 20,21,19 and 18 went to the pools to learn how to swim or get better at swimming.

“Do freestyle to  the end” yelled Natalie.

Sally said “Mia can you lay on your back?”

My favourite thing was when Natalie threw the toys in the pool because it was easy and fun.  

I think did the best I could.

I should work on my breathing.

Māui and the sun

It  was dark and cold.

The sun had fallen down to the big blue sea.

Māui couldn’t even have a tiny piece of his food.

  ”Oh that sun it is going too fast ,too too fast”said Māui.

Māui called his brothers as loud as a wolf's  howl.

They came stomping to him in the darkness outside.

”That sun is going too fast don’t you agree brothers”said Māui.

“Yeah we agree, the sun  goes down then the moon comes up and the night is too long and the day is too short” replied the brothers.

“Oh we don’t have time to fish and we don’t have time to hunt” answered Māui and the brothers.

“I say we should get the sun and beat it up because he goes down too fast do you agree brothers or do  you not agree”said Māui.

  “Ok we will plait the rope so we can catch that naughty  sun so the day can be long”said the brothers.

  Two minutes later the brothers said “we can not eat our food”.

Year I agree totally agree we should  catch the sun.

“Ok brothers when I say pull then pull ok gus said Māui.

Yes we totally get it yup glued in our heads.

  “Ok we are done plaiting the rope” mumbled the brothers.

“Brothers when I say throw then throw or if I say pull then pull, ok” yelled Māui.

“Ok boys now throw” yelled Māui as loud as someone waking up the whole word!

“Keep hold of the rope and pull”said Māui.

Māui was beating up the sun and saying slow down, slow down, you silly sun.

“Ok ok I will slow down just leave me alone” moaned the sun.

“Ok Māui that is enough let him go”said the brothers.
